Job Summary

We are seeking a certified medical assistant to join our team at Doctors Care Hope Ferry. The successful candidate will prepare patients for their physician visit by taking vitals, documenting vital information, and assisting with patient services duties at the front desk.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for their physician visit by taking vitals and documenting vital information
  • Assist with patient services duties at the front desk, including taking phone calls and updating patient demographics
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients
  • Work 12 hour shifts and weekends as needed
  • Work at other centers as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Computer skills
  • Basic medical terminology
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in medical assisting
