Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Job: As a Customer Service and Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that they receive prompt and professional responses to their inquiries. You will work closely with our producers to understand client needs, gather necessary data, research policy options, and provide recommendations to enhance their insurance portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and familiar with insurance products and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve product or service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with producers to understand client needs, gather necessary data, research policy options, and provide recommendations to enhance their insurance portfolio.
  • Work with new clients to understand their insurance needs, gather necessary data, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including notes, emails, and phone conversations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Be proficient in using agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation.
