Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Officer Assistant II to join our team at Community Trust Bank. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our commercial loan officers, ensuring the smooth operation of our loan processing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Documentation: Prepare all types of commercial loan documentation, including SBA Loans necessary for loan closings, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Letters of Credit: Prepare Letters of Credit and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Post-Closing Work: Handle post-closing work, including preparing loans for set-up, recording documents, ordering final title opinions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Train and/or provide task direction to junior commercial loan officer assistants and assist with LaserPro training.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to commercial loan officers, including typing from transcribed dictation, assembling packages for Loan Committee, and answering telephones.
  • Correspondence and Reporting: Prepare and handle correspondence, copy and distribute various reports, and order credit reports, flood certifications, and other documents as required.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures, and perform other duties within the department as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Position normally requires about one year of education beyond high school consisting of specialized courses in subjects such as accounting, business administration, or banking.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word, EXCEL, and other applicable computer software.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with high-profile commercial loan customers, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to operate necessary office equipment, lift and carry various files, and type from transcribed dictation.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Normal office conditions.
  • Work Schedule: Work is time-sensitive and deadline-driven.
