Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Commercial Metals Company. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, operating production equipment, and participating in our safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Experience with metal sorting a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs or more
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks of the job, including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
