About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales professional to join our Named Account team at Proofpoint. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and expand Proofpoint's footprint in the market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell existing customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver complex, multi-product/multi-year proposals that meet customer needs and deliver overall solution value
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Proofpoint's security platform and its value proposition to effectively communicate with customers and partners
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions (or related field) managing medium and large accounts
  • Demonstrable track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships
  • Experience working with channel partners and selling via two-tier distribution
  • Strong presentation skills and technical understanding of cybersecurity
  • Ability to identify customer business drivers and develop use cases/business value selling
  • Ability to quarterback a multitude of internal and external resources while being in tune with different personalities and competing priorities
