Your Role:

If you are an experienced Field Engineer seeking professional advancement, we present an excellent opportunity for you. You will be part of a dedicated team providing expert assistance for PLCs and/or DCS systems. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting a variety of tasks such as on-site training for customer personnel, drafting and updating maintenance protocols, performing quality assurance tests, and evaluating products while ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting on all activities with a focus on identifying challenges faced.
  • Leading the efforts of personnel involved in the installation of control systems, sub-systems, and equipment, or their routine modification and repair.
  • Offering direct engineering support to clients and serving as a liaison within the organization on matters related to equipment and associated issues.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with internal project teams, customer project teams, and contractors.
  • Utilizing troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills effectively.
Who You Are:

You recognize the significance of internal customer relationships and demonstrate remarkable initiative in challenging situations. You excel at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities and gathering data from diverse sources to resolve issues.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent field engineering experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with basic networking and experience in computer assembly/troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel locally to customer sites, including occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Compliance with Emerson's vehicle policy and possession of a valid US driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DCS/PLC control systems.
  • Background in the power and water/wastewater treatment sectors.
