Position: Full-time Marine Field Service Technician

Compensation: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour (an additional $1.50 per hour for field assignments)

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be necessary.

Sign-on Incentive: $5000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot engine performance issues
  • Execute repairs and complete engine overhauls
  • Conduct performance testing and implement necessary modifications
  • Manage expenses through warranty assessments and parts analysis
  • Keep precise service documentation
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Engage professionally with clients on-site
  • Facilitate commissioning trials for MTU engines

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in using electrical multi-meters
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with large marine diesel engines
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine electronic controls and computer applications
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Familiarity with MTU engines and Diasys software is advantageous
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
