General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), a subsidiary of General Atomics, specializes in providing engineering solutions for both military and commercial sectors.

GA-SI stands at the forefront of systems integration technology, focusing on enhancing reliability and designing control systems.
We are currently seeking a Deployable Field Engineer Lead to become part of our Aero Services Division. This role offers flexibility in location, allowing the incumbent to operate from anywhere within the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Offer guidance and training to clients in the development of operational, maintenance, and inspection protocols.
• Investigate equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and suggest corrective measures.
• Provide recommendations for design modifications aimed at improving equipment performance and reducing operational costs.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies while maintaining detailed performance and maintenance logs.
• Manage off-site logistics, including the coordination of parts shipments to and from various locations.
• Facilitate off-site support as needed when working from the home office.

• Participate in the planning and development of human resources to ensure the availability of skilled management, professional, and technical personnel.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and obligations during business operations on behalf of the Company.

• Strive to maintain a safe and productive work environment in line with established operational protocols.
• Be prepared to deploy to various sites in support of customer operations.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is typically required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• A comprehensive understanding of aviation maintenance practices and procedures is essential, along with strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to organize, plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines.

• Must demonstrate the ability to address supervisory and technical challenges and act as the on-site representative.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with others.
• A customer-centric approach is vital, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

SALARY:
• $51,650 - $87,290
