Cucina 8 1⁄2 is a prominent Italian dining establishment located in the vibrant heart of NYC, offering a diverse range of services including a restaurant, bar, lounge, and banquet facilities, with plans for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting various operations within our front office. As our organization expands and integrates new technologies, this position will be essential in ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing general administrative assistance
- Managing both electronic and physical document filing, including scanning
- Handling incoming correspondence via mail and email
- Coordinating schedules and managing appointments
- Maintaining accurate and organized records
- Responding to information requests and managing phone and email communications
- Addressing unforeseen issues as they arise
- Ordering and overseeing office supply inventory
- Assisting with additional office tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant office experience, including document management and customer service
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members
- Excellent writing abilities for drafting memos, emails, and other documentation
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Salary: $40,000 to $45,000 per year
