Position Overview

ADEPT Talent Solutions is in search of a dedicated HR Business Partner to enhance our team. The HR Business Partner will embody our organizational culture and principles, collaborating closely with management and staff to foster a supportive and thriving work environment.


This role will encompass the daily operations of the Human Resources department, including talent acquisition, leave management, policy enforcement, and promoting a positive workplace atmosphere.

The HR Business Partner will escalate employee-related issues to senior HR leadership as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:


- Manage the recruitment process by sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for open roles; work alongside department heads to identify required skills and competencies.

- Conduct new employee orientations and oversee employee recognition initiatives.


- Execute routine tasks essential for administering HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, performance management, and employee development.

- Ensure alignment across departments and collaborate with IT, Payroll, and other relevant teams.

- Cultivate positive relationships with labor representatives and staff.

- Maintain and audit employee personnel records.

- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to senior HR leadership as needed.

- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations.


- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels; regularly review policies to maintain adherence.

- Stay informed on trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law.

- Track and document compliance with mandatory training and continuing education requirements.

- Promote an inclusive workplace by exemplifying core values and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

- A minimum of three years of experience in human resource management is preferred.

- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

- Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS and talent management systems.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Additionally, the role may require lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and standing as necessary.

The employee must be able to navigate various terrains while adhering to safety protocols.

Travel Requirements:


This position may involve travel, including overnight stays, within a designated region and occasionally across North America.

The employee must meet travel requirements as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried, exempt position with competitive compensation. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and other perks.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime as needed. Flexibility for evening and weekend work may be required based on job responsibilities.
