Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Calibration Technician to join our organization. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical skills to work with a variety of precision measurement instruments. This position primarily involves onsite work, with occasional travel for calibrations, allowing you to engage directly with advanced technology and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

As a Calibration Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing torque equipment and pressure gauges to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Working across various lab and mobile lab environments, adhering to strict procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring all calibrations comply with ISO 17025 industry standards.
  • Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to uphold the highest quality standards in precision measurement technology.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training in metrology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers is essential.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, along with effective communication abilities.
  • Professionalism and reliable attendance are critical.
Technical Proficiency

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following technical areas:

  • Voltage and current; resistance, capacitance, inductance; waveform analysis; frequency; pressure/vacuum; force/torque; linear/angular measurement; and more.
