Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Scheduler to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Patient Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient scheduling for healthcare appointments, obtaining demographic and insurance information.
  • Handle high call volumes in a fast-paced healthcare environment, prioritizing and triaging incoming calls efficiently.
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments, maintaining accuracy and adherence to scheduling protocols.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating effective communication and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain organized records of appointments and patient information in electronic scheduling systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ months of customer service or call center experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
