Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Beverage Manager serves as the beverage authority responsible for orchestrating the beverage procurement process. This role entails managing the selection, acquisition, and inventory of beverages across the resort's various outlets. Key responsibilities include monitoring and replenishing stock levels, placing orders with vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Work Environment:

This position is based in the resort's diverse outlets, including dining establishments and event spaces, as well as administrative offices.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a consistent supply of quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Develop strong partnerships with local beverage suppliers.
  • Maintain knowledge of local beverage regulations and responsible service practices.
  • Oversee all functions of the beverage department, including selection, procurement, preparation, and service.
  • Manage beverage inventory effectively, train staff, and curate a beverage menu that aligns with guest preferences.
  • Enhance the overall guest experience while contributing to the resort's financial success.
  • Implement cost control measures while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and quality.
  • Monitor inventory to reduce waste and optimize profitability.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of beverage service areas.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to create beverage pairings that complement menu offerings.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of drink recipes and cost analyses.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on beverage offerings.
  • Address guest feedback regarding beverage services promptly.
  • Engage with guests to gather insights and enhance service offerings.
  • Participate in planning and executing special events and promotions.

Service Standards:

  • Exhibit professionalism in all guest interactions.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service without unnecessary delays.
  • Maintain a polished appearance and uphold high standards of hygiene.
  • Empower staff to resolve guest issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a beverage management role within a high-volume establishment.
  • Strong understanding of beverage service and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours.

Commitment to Safety:
