Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the assembly process while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conducting complex machine setups, including adjustments and changes of mechanical components.
  • Performing quality inspections during production runs to ensure compliance with established quality plans.
  • Measuring and testing assembly units to identify malfunctions and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on assembly machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Participating in environmental, health, and safety reviews.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections and production metrics.
  • Ensuring that all outgoing products meet required specifications.
  • Addressing safety and quality issues as they arise.
  • Executing part changes and conducting diagnostics on machinery.
  • Generating ideas for ongoing process enhancements.
  • Supporting timely delivery by operating assembly machines as needed.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Basic proficiency in shop mathematics and computer skills.
  • Fundamental troubleshooting abilities related to machinery.
  • A proactive approach to teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • The capability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and report on machine performance data.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.

  • Strong prioritization skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:
  • Lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Engage in physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
