Position Overview
The Housekeeping Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. This position involves performing routine cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of designated areas, including locker rooms, restrooms, meeting spaces, and offices.
  • Executing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Disinfecting surfaces and ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Operating specialized cleaning equipment, including scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
  • Assisting in overseeing contractor work during events and ensuring post-event cleanliness.
  • Conducting inspections of work performed and providing guidance as necessary.

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Customer Service: Ability to manage challenging situations and respond promptly to the needs of customers.
  • Dependability: Consistently reliable in attendance and punctuality, taking responsibility for assigned tasks.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Up to one year of experience in custodial services or related fields.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and communicate effectively. Candidates should be able to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds and perform tasks that may involve climbing or balancing.

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and may involve exposure to loud noise levels and vibrations.
