Position Overview

Work Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, and heating/cooling units as per the assigned schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping as required.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and transporting waste to designated areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, including burnt-out light bulbs and equipment malfunctions, to the supervisor.
  • Engage positively with residents, their families, guests, and fellow staff members.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care for residents.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possess a positive and friendly demeanor.
