Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Rockfall Operations Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of our Frontline Operations Team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating operations on multiple construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, production, costs, and training objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate operations on multiple construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Monitor and ensure project performance, including duration and cost variance from budget.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor crews to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Follow instructions from the Operations Director and assist Superintendents and Operators as needed.
  • Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to place orders for materials and equipment, and ensure that all necessary resources are available on site.
  • Help with the submittal process and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met and milestones are achieved.
  • Have working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Attend training requested by Access Limited Company to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices.
  • Follow all Access Limited Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including job management and knowledge of building products and services.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Superintendent.
  • Experience in geotechnical construction, including rockfall mitigation and slope stabilization.
  • Proven ability to accurately interpret the scope, specification, and timeliness of customer plans, while meeting profitability goals established by the company.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality projects within provided deadlines.
  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage projects and crews.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in all situations.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to have schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.
  • Must have working knowledge of company-provided hardware and web-based technology systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with a minimum of 100% travel in the Eastern US.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Experience with micropiling and foundation drilling.

  • Heavy lifting (75lbs+) of construction materials on the job site.
