Job Responsibilities

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, adapting curricula to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Lead classroom discussions, provide one-on-one support, and promote inclusivity and respect among students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grades, attendance, and IEP updates.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid teaching certification.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a public school setting.
