Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract basis. As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential support to students with behavioral challenges, working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans: Work closely with our BCBA to design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Support Services: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students to promote positive behavior and learning outcomes.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to established protocols, and assist in analyzing data to adjust and improve intervention strategies.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs and develop effective strategies for promoting student success.
Requirements:
  • Certification: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly in a school setting, is preferred
  • Skills: Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques, proficiency in data collection and documentation
