Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential support to students with behavioral challenges in a school setting. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with educational staff to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA to promote positive behavior and learning.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their social skills, coping mechanisms, and academic engagement.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to established protocols.
  • Assist in the analysis of data to adjust and improve intervention strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs and develop effective behavior management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data collection and documentation.
