Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Solutions Architect to join our team at TULK LLC. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing advanced software solutions that are aligned with our Enterprise Architecture vision. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming user requirements into strategic solutions, ensuring that our software development processes are innovative and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and mentorship to Mid-Level and Junior-Level software architects in the development, maintenance, and documentation of software solution architectures. Ensure alignment with the overarching Enterprise architecture and compliance with our standards.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Work collaboratively with the team to perform thorough analyses of user requirements, processes, and challenges. Your insights will drive automation and enhancements to our existing software systems.
  • Innovation and Design: Lead the initiative in proposing modifications to software solution architecture design. Your guidance, based on requirements analysis and awareness of emerging technologies, will shape the future of our software solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Be the key decision-maker behind high-level software design choices and technical standards. This includes establishing best practices for coding, selecting appropriate tools, and determining the most suitable platforms.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, System Engineering, or a related STEM field. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent Senior-level experience as a Software Architect.
  • Senior-level experience in government or industry, particularly in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Architecture and Design, or Data Architecture.
  • Proficiency in multiple areas such as cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro-services, API development, or DevSecOps.
  • A proven history of delivering working products to clients within a modern, cloud-based software environment.
Desired:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Previous experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects, providing valuable context from the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience in IC or DoD programs/projects.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or the Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
