Job Description

Community Counseling of Bristol County, Inc. is hiring a Recovery Services Manager to oversee our Co-Occurring Enhanced Residential Rehabilitation Services (COE-RRS) Program.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead our team of recovery specialists in providing exceptional care to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise recovery specialists on a regular basis to ensure high-quality services and support.
  2. Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for the program.
  3. Collaborate with residents to meet their hygiene and nutrition needs, including meal planning and shopping.
  4. Coordinate transportation to appointments for residents and other COE RRS programs.
  5. Review attendance and approve weekend passes for residents.
  6. Assist with new intakes for the COE RRS program and provide medication observation services.
  7. Track clients' stages of change and treatment readiness.
  8. Conduct outreach services using evidence-based practices, tailored to each resident's needs.
  9. Support residents in understanding addiction's impact on daily life and provide resources for substance abuse concerns and mental health.
  10. Provide guidance and supervision to the Recovery Specialist Supervisor and report daily to the Program Director/Clinical Director.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, plus three years of relevant experience or five years as a substance abuse counselor.
  • Addictions/Substance Abuse Certification preferred, or working towards such.
  • At least one year of experience working with adults who have mental illnesses; experience supervising recovery support specialists; knowledge of recovery resources; experience working with diverse populations; group facilitation skills; strong organizational and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of Core Competencies as identified by the department.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record from the state of residence.
  • Completion of MA and ADP CORI process.
  • Computer literacy related to the requirements of the position.
