Addiction and Recovery Medical Nurse Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking a skilled LPN II to provide direct care to clients in our acute detoxification and early clinical stabilization services. The ideal candidate will possess strong therapeutic interpersonal skills, knowledge of nursing practices, and experience working with clients who have primary substance use disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day direct care to clients, including assessing client condition, administering medication, monitoring detoxification, and providing education on health and wellness.
- Participate in therapeutic interactions with clients to aid in assessments and ensure safety.
- Assist clients with daily health and hygiene tasks, such as nutrition, bathing, dressing, and physical exercise.
- Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience in the field of nursing as a licensed practical nurse.
- Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
