About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Engineering Technical Fellow to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing high fidelity performance simulations that drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement roadmaps for high fidelity performance simulations, including multiple sensor channels, scene generation capability, control hardware, physical environment, embedded software, and system performance evaluation.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary research across integrated product teams, collaborating with experts in Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and missile-and-sensor-level Performance Simulations.
  • Act as a strategic visionary, driving the implementation of technical strategies across multiple programs and product lines.
  • Advocate for technical integrity of modeling and simulation products, serving as a consultant to the organization to help develop technologies that achieve growth targets.
  • Provide solutions to complex technical tasks, mentor and advocate for respect, diversity and ethics, and participate in definition of team goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree, with twelve (12) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in high fidelity performance simulations, programming in C, C++, or other high order language, and UNIX/Linux based workstations.
  • Author of intellectual property (patent disclosures) and conference/journal publications in modeling and simulation technical areas within the past ten (10) years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree.
  • Recognized technical authority in modeling and simulation, with proven knowledge of fundamental concepts and high level of expertise to drive technical solutions.
  • Strategic visionary with ability to think about where a program or product line is heading or needs to go, while considering the technical aspects of how to get us there.
  • Complementary expertise in signal processing, guidance navigation & control, or hardware design and test.
  • Business development experience, including technical and cost proposal preparation and program management experience.
