About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our integrated product team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-fidelity performance simulations, evaluating system performance, and supporting new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct trade studies and evaluate system and subsystem performance
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of technical plans and roadmaps
  • Work closely with government counterparts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of modeling and simulation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
  • 8+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or MATLAB, and experience with Python for data analysis
  • Experience with signal processing, GNC algorithms, and control hardware design and test
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and interacting with multiple engineering disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
  • Leadership experience managing teams using applied system engineering principles
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux-based workstations and software configuration management tools
  • Coursework or experience in radar, signal and image processing, and digital communications
