About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our integrated product team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-fidelity performance simulations, evaluating system performance, and supporting new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct trade studies and evaluate system and subsystem performance
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of detailed plans and proposals
  • Interact with government counterparts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with program requirements and objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with 8+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, or other high-order languages, with experience using MATLAB or Python for data evaluation
  • Experience developing or simulating physical systems, with a strong understanding of system architecture and performance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
  • Leadership experience managing teams and interacting with multiple engineering disciplines
  • Experience developing signal processing/GNC algorithms or models for missile applications
  • Experience with control hardware design and test, hardware/software integration, and modeling physics
