All employees in the Coastal Health District are considered essential in emergencies and may be required to assist in various capacities during such events.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative/Interpreter, you will:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and clerical support.
  • Serve as an interpreter and translator for clients with limited English proficiency.
  • Facilitate communication by interpreting and translating both orally and in writing.
  • Assist in various clinical departments by offering interpreting services.
  • Support the Public Health Educator at events requiring language assistance.
  • Translate informational materials into Spanish for community outreach.
To succeed in this role, you must be adept at multitasking, possess strong computer skills, and effectively manage customer inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED with at least six months of experience in customer service. Proficiency in Spanish is required.
