Job Overview

The Shuttle Operations Customer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in representing Beep Inc. and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our passengers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely manage the shuttle vehicle and its operational interface during service.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for the community and local businesses.
  • Exhibit proficiency in manual driving maneuvers, including navigating intersections and overcoming obstacles.
  • Maintain a composed and professional demeanor when addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Execute essential emergency protocols during critical situations.
  • Engage enthusiastically with passengers, providing clear communication about the shuttle experience.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Coordinate with the Command Center regarding vehicle maintenance and operational issues.
  • Document and track any operational challenges that arise.
  • Assist in the logistical management of vehicle movement and storage.
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks for both the interior and exterior of the shuttle.
  • Support administrative tasks related to vehicle operations.

Education and Experience:
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of five years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • At least one to two years of experience in customer service.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and small groups.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods in a moving vehicle.
  • Work in varied environments, including outdoor conditions.
  • Manual dexterity to operate gaming controllers or similar devices.
  • Capability to visually assess equipment and road conditions.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Fluency in English, with bilingual skills considered an advantage.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
