Position Status:

The Finance Operations Manager role is a full-time opportunity, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on job responsibilities.

Deliver quality work within deadlines, with or without direct oversight.

Engage professionally with colleagues, clients, and service providers.

Collaborate effectively as a team member on all projects.

Work autonomously while recognizing the importance of communication and coordination with other team members and departments.

Take responsibility for client issues and concerns to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Position Purpose:

Overall accountability for overseeing the financial processes of the organization.

The Role:

Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations. Ensure that robust internal controls are established.

Prepare journal entries, analyze financial statements, and conduct monthly closings for all entities.

Generate financial and management reports for the Executive Team, including the development and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaborate with the CFO and management team to compile data for annual budgeting, planning, and cash flow management.

This position requires strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to navigate complex accounting challenges.

Proactively identify and implement process enhancements.

Ability to manage high volumes of data, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and occasionally stressful environment.

Exceptional computer and Excel skills are essential. Understanding basic IT concepts is necessary, along with the ability to communicate requirements to the IT department.

Capability to research and adopt new software solutions as business needs evolve.

Provide training and mentorship to team members to foster growth and achievement of organizational goals.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Our Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, combined with 10 years of experience in public and corporate accounting and finance.

Experience in a management role.

Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.

Prior experience with a CRM system, preferably HubSpot.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:

While performing the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:

Remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.

Occasionally navigate the office to utilize equipment, attend meetings, etc.

Engage frequently with clients via telephone.

Regularly access and input data into computer programs.

Perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and manage challenging situations with clients.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position, requiring a home office setup with secure internet access.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with 10 years of combined public and corporate accounting and finance experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • CPA (active or inactive status) is preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
