Position Status:
The Financial Operations Manager role is a full-time position, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be necessary based on job responsibilities.
In the execution of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to adhere to the following:

Collaborate effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while recognizing the importance of communicating and coordinating efforts with other employees and departments.
Take ownership of client issues and concerns to foster an exceptional client experience.
Position Purpose:
Overall responsibility for overseeing the accounting practices of the organization.
The Job:
Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations. Ensure appropriate internal controls are established.
Prepare journal entries, review financial statements, and conduct monthly closing for all entities.
Generate financial and management reports for the Executive Team, including KPI development and analysis.
Collaborate with the CFO and management team to compile data for annual budgeting, planning, and cash flow management.
Responsibilities require broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and the ability to address complex accounting challenges.
Proactively identify and implement process enhancements.
Ability to manage high-volume data, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and occasionally stressful environment.
Exceptional computer and Excel skills. Comprehend basic IT concepts and effectively communicate needs to the IT department.
Ability to research and adopt new software as business needs evolve.
Provide training and mentorship to staff to encourage growth and achievement of organizational objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
Our Needs:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 10 years of combined public and corporate accounting and finance experience.
Management experience.
Outstanding analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
CPA not required but preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
Prior experience in a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to perform the following with or without accommodations:
Remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer station.
Occasionally navigate the office space to utilize office equipment, attend meetings, etc.
Engage frequently with clients via telephone.
Regularly access and input data into computer programs.
Frequently perform under pressure to meet deadlines and/or manage challenging situations and/or clients.
Work Environment:
This is a Remote position. A home office setup with secure internet is required.
