Patient Access Representative III

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative III to join our team. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient access to our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration of patients
- Obtain financial clearance and determine patient's correct financial classification
- Verify insurance coverage and process registrations efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with physicians and specialty departments to ensure accurate intake of information
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements, including completing 30 registrations per shift and handling 10 inquiries per day
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred
- Three (3) years of healthcare experience in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle department, physician office, healthcare insurance company, or other revenue cycle related roles
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred
