Patient Access Representative

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for registering patients presenting to the medical center for treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration of patients
- Facilitate patient access to Cedars Sinai Medical Center and secure demographic and financial patient registration information
- Verify insurance coverage, Third Party Liability (TPL) screening, Medi-Cal / Medicare eligibility, and Workers Compensation eligibility
- Secure cash deposits (co-pays, deductibles, cash packages)
- High School or GED required
- 2 years college preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, insurance or related experience preferred
