Key Responsibilities

The Director of Nursing or Clinical Supervisor is a registered nurse responsible for managing the coordination, supervision, and implementation of professional and supportive services for hospice clients in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role includes overseeing the care coordination throughout the care episode and providing education and training related to clinical practice and regulatory updates during the orientation of new hires. On-call responsibilities may also be required, and the individual may act as the backup Hospice Administrator.

Qualifications
  • A genuine desire to serve patients and families with a commitment to providing the highest quality care.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Must hold a current state license as a registered nurse.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience as a registered nurse in a relevant clinical care setting, such as home health or hospice (preferred). Demonstrated clinical and supervisory knowledge and experience relevant to the assigned responsibilities.
  • Requirements: Reliable transportation and the ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs effectively.
