We are seeking a Lead Software Program Manager to become a vital part of NVIDIA's Compute Software platform team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with software and firmware development leaders, engineers, and logistical teams to comprehend, outline, and execute processes that support NVIDIA GPUs, HPC, and AI platforms for cloud service providers and OEMs. This role will also encompass duties related to general compute and firmware releases.
  • Oversee software and firmware execution for PCIe datacenter products, manage release timelines and strategies, and provide executive status updates. Organize and lead status meetings, serving as the central point for developing and maintaining release schedules and the official release plan.
  • Work in partnership with teams across the organization to strategize and propel Software/Firmware objectives for the team. In this capacity, you will gather requirements, assist in prioritization, and drive scheduling and planning for all phases of process implementation. You will create and uphold schedules for the numerous components that must operate concurrently. Enhance existing product development and software release processes, and collaborate with engineering management to optimize the development workflow for maximum efficiency. You will have the chance to engage with diverse technical groups across all organizational levels.
  • Internally, you will convert customer requirements into actionable goals and ensure that clients are kept informed about issue statuses.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams and third-party partners across different time zones as necessary to assist in resolving customer issues.
  • Manage customer releases and drive process documentation.
  • Work alongside customer PMs on software-related issues, including technical feedback from OEMs/ODMs and CSPs.
  • Enhance and sustain all processes associated with enterprise support, while also understanding the comprehensive landscape of the NVIDIA software stack that operates on NVIDIA GPUs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with over 10 years of proven experience in a similar or related capacity.
  • Program Managers should possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong technical presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver complex datacenter products to clients. Experience with PCIe boards is preferred.
  • Practical experience in software development and processes, particularly in system software/firmware development.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal guidance. Proven experience in creatively resolving technical challenges and resource conflicts.
  • Capacity to think both strategically and tactically, building consensus to ensure program success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard configuration management tools and experience with productivity tools and process automation.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and evolving requirements.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of operating systems principles, Linux OS, and programming experience in modern programming languages is highly desirable. Familiarity with datacenter functionalities and PCIe boards is a plus.
  • Previous experience coordinating activities among hardware, firmware, and software organizations is advantageous.
  • Understanding of GPUs and NICs is beneficial. Experience with Agile tools in support of this role is a plus.
