With a rich history dating back to 1904, we provide programs and services to 24,000 members, 200 organizational members, and over 40,000 participants of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic levels.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Regional League Coordinator to implement and support global strategies for our Competition Department. This role will incorporate resources from all levels, local, section, and USTA National, and coordinate and execute against project plans at the implementation level. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director of Provider Services and be responsible for growing the game of tennis by recruiting new and returning players and scheduling local USTA Leagues, including playoffs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit new and returning players for USTA League play
  • Work with the Managing Director to seek new venues for USTA League play
  • Mentor new captains and teams
  • Partner with facilities on availability and home court assignments
  • Schedule and publish all local USTA League matches in Tennislink
  • Respond to USTA League inquiries surrounding scheduling
  • Seek to home-court new teams at new venues
  • Carry out various USTA PNW League administrative functions as assigned
  • Address all USTA Local League inquiries from players, captains, coaches, and the general public
  • Coordinate and oversee One Weekend Events and Local League Playoffs in the assigned area as needed
  • Assist with USTA League Section Championships as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven strong organizational skills
  • Proven strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability of strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to follow strict rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of the Pacific Northwest preferred
  • Knowledge of listed USTA Programs & Services preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work independently
  • Availability to work frequent evening and weekend hours
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional home-office environment. The employee is regularly required to talk, speak or hear. The employee frequently is required to move around; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in extreme weather and indoor/outdoor conditions as needed for events.

  • Hourly pay of $22-$25 per hour dependent on prior professional experience
