Position Overview

SOSi is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to provide comprehensive support for our government client. This role will be pivotal in overseeing IT services, Cybersecurity initiatives, and Program Management functions essential for the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced security systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee multiple contract operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and performance metrics across all projects. This includes planning, organizing, and supervising work efforts, allocating resources, managing personnel, and conducting risk assessments.

• Keep senior management informed about the overall program status, including relevant projects and their implications for strategic objectives, leveraging unique technical insights.

• Apply management techniques and principles to optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and resources, achieving program goals through effective technical and administrative oversight.

• Utilize budgetary and fiscal strategies for the establishment and maintenance of contracts.

• Engage in significant program segments, understanding organizational structures and functional responsibilities.

• Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in enhancing and integrating existing IT assets into a cohesive operational framework.

• Drive improvements in the client's core infrastructure and security capabilities to safeguard sensitive information.

• Implement Agile methodologies to manage key projects and initiatives effectively.

• Create and maintain standardized project schedules aligned with Agile best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in their execution.

• Generate comprehensive status reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

• Manage vendor contracts efficiently and collaboratively.

• Produce clear and concise documentation for all processes.

• Establish consistent communication with stakeholders.

• Provide support for organizational readiness to Cybersecurity personnel as needed.

• Develop and execute transition management plans to facilitate smooth transitions to subsequent contractors.

• Transfer knowledge and skills to client staff to enhance their cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications
  • MA/MS Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in overseeing multiple programs/projects and managing relationships with senior client management.
  • Current PMP certification.
  • Ability to serve as an alternate PM, managing schedules and costs to ensure timely contract performance.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree.
  • Relevant Agile Program Management certification.
  • Preferred IAM Level II certification such as CISSP or CASP.

  • May require flexible working hours, including nights or weekends.
