The Automotive Service Consultant is tasked with promoting and selling all products and services offered by Greg's Japanese Auto while adhering to the company's standards and expectations.


COMPENSATION:
Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:


Welcome customers in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone, utilizing the company's standardized customer service techniques.


Listen attentively to customers' concerns; inspect vehicles and refer to service history to accurately assess and confirm service needs.

Recommend services based on your knowledge and expertise.

Effectively communicate any additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician to the customer, enabling them to make informed decisions.

Document all recommendations thoroughly in the customer file.


Encourage the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the products and their service requirements.


Provide customers with accurate quotes that include costs and estimated completion times for approved services.

Keep customers updated throughout the day regarding the status of their services.


Follow proper procedures when processing customer payments, including reviewing the completed multi-point inspection and explaining applicable warranties.

Conduct follow-up calls after repairs and declined services to ensure customer satisfaction for all clients.

Monitor all new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior experience as a Service Consultant is beneficial, but not mandatory

Professional appearance and a proven ability to thrive in a process-driven environment

Possess a valid driver's license

Ability to work a minimum of five days per week
