About the Role:As the first point of contact for our clients in the service department, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the maintenance and repair process, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance
- Advise customers on necessary and recommended services
- Offer additional services and repairs to customers
- Compute cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer
- Estimate cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs
- Enter itemized estimate on service order and explain estimate to customer
- Schedule appointments with customer
- Meet dealership's standards for repair and order production
- Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participate in required training
- Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
- Demonstrate the Company's Core Values
- Comply with Company policies and procedures
- Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
- Dealership experience preferred
- College Degree, High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive dealership
- Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
