We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Sales Development Rep to join our team. As an integral part of our growth strategy, this role is crucial in establishing and building profitable service relationships between new customers and Johnson Controls.

The successful candidate will focus on selling renewable maintenance agreements as the key building block for these relationships. They will work within an assigned geographic territory, collaborating with sales and operations professionals within the local branch office.

Using sales tools, the salesperson will plan and document sales progress, increasing business opportunities in current accounts. The primary goal is to obtain and close business on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follower disciplined professional process identify target and qualify prospective new customers; take advantage market conditions networks effectively uncover new leads contacts
  • Contact prospective customers schedule appointments build referral network identify new customers
  • Conduct sales calls designed identify key sources problems dissatisfaction confronting Facility Directors operating maintaining heating/cooling ventilation control system equipment

The ideal candidate will develop a sense of urgency resolve needs position Johnson Controls supplier choice. They will propose solutions prospective customers needs creative innovative application local branch service capabilities focus selling renewable maintenance agreements emphasis digital service offerings sustainability decarbonization.

The candidate will review finalize proposals prospects secure commitment Johnson Controls solution. They will conduct customer kick-off meetings resolve customer issues create pull-through opportunities maintain service agreements extend service agreements support collections process.

The successful candidate will keep management informed progress account status using Johnson Controls Salesforce.com tool other means. They will know when call assistance management keep sales process moving.

Additionally, the candidate will develop implement territory marketing plans consistent Johnson Controls Building Solutions business strategy. They will attend present trade shows participate professional organizations represent Johnson Controls professionally conducting business highest standards quality pride integrity performance.
