Job Summary

The Front Desk Associate represents the RELIVE brand, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. This role requires effective communication with patients and extensive knowledge of products and services available. The ideal candidate will onboard and check out patients properly based on service received, while establishing effective working relationships with other staff and external vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring patient inquiries.
  • Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments effectively.
  • Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of the patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding the provider of service delays.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions, and maintaining the reception area.
  • Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Record and fulfill scripts, update financial information, record and collect patient charges, file, verify, and expedite third-party invoicing and fulfillment.
  • Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt of supplies, and liaising with the Office Manager.
  • Protect patients' rights by abiding by HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
  • Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy, participate in shared decision-making.
  • Accurately use online booking systems.
  • Assist with patients calling with questions and following up.
Qualifications

Educated to GED level, previous experience working in customer-serving environments, experience in a medical setting is preferable.
