- Welcoming guests and checking them into their rooms efficiently, providing information about hotel amenities and services.
- Handling guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, including reservations, room changes, and special accommodations.
- Assisting with check-out procedures, ensuring accurate billing and resolving any discrepancies.
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records of guest transactions.
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are clean and well-maintained.
- Providing concierge services such as arranging transportation and making restaurant reservations.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues to the satisfaction of the guest and the hotel.
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, including stocking supplies and keeping informational materials up to date.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
