Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Western Digital, you will be essential in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing tools within a controlled environment. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on designated equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify unexpected equipment failures
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and incidents
  • Provide insights for enhancing equipment performance
  • Deliver technical training to maintenance staff
  • Assist Equipment Engineers in establishing maintenance protocols
Required Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or relevant experience in the field
  • Familiarity with vacuum, photolithography, or plating technologies
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Proficient in MS Windows and control systems
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced equipment maintenance expertise
  • Experience with deposition, etching, plating, and vacuum systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various equipment and systems
