Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Technician to join our team at Tesla, Inc. in the Engineering & Information Technology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on all industrial production and mechatronics equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct repairs on production-down equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Operate and repair every cell on a Line to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Perform Corrective Maintenance (repairs) to address equipment issues and prevent future problems.
  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Log all work as performed to maintain accurate records and track equipment maintenance history.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including mechatronics and production line systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and management.
