Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Western Digital, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance of tools used in our advanced manufacturing processes. This role demands a proactive mindset, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on designated equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify unexpected equipment failures
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and equipment issues
  • Offer suggestions for enhancing equipment efficiency
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for maintenance staff
  • Assist Equipment Engineers in establishing maintenance protocols
Required Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with vacuum, photolithography, or wet processing technologies
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Competence in MS Windows and control systems
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced expertise in equipment maintenance
  • Experience with deposition, etching, plating, and vacuum systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various equipment and operational systems
