Position: Equipment Maintenance TechnicianAs an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Western Digital, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal functioning of tools within our wafer manufacturing production line, specifically in a cleanroom setting. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on designated tool sets
- Diagnose and rectify unexpected equipment failures
- Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and incidents
- Provide insights to enhance tool efficiency
- Deliver technical training to maintenance staff
- Assist the Equipment Engineer in establishing maintenance protocols
- Technical degree or relevant experience in the industry
- Familiarity with vacuum, photo, or wet/plating technologies
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Proficient in MS Windows software and control systems
- Advanced expertise in equipment maintenance
- Experience with deposition, etching, plating, and vacuum systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of various equipment and systems
