This often leads to re-arrest and recidivism. To combat this issue, Tulsa is launching JusticeLink, a centralized diversion services center that provides coordinated support for justice-involved individuals.

Position Overview:

The Community Resource Coordinator will be instrumental in advancing the objectives of ProsperOK by supporting justice-involved individuals and their families. This role involves providing tailored assistance to connect clients with programs and services that address their needs, thereby enhancing their economic stability and reducing future legal entanglements.

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties represent the core responsibilities of this position:

  1. Establish a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages ongoing engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  2. Conduct assessments to identify immediate needs and potential interventions.
  3. Facilitate connections to community resources based on client needs and eligibility.
  4. Ensure effective follow-up to confirm successful connections to services.
  5. Manage relationships with community partners to enhance referral processes.
  6. Participate in peer group meetings for knowledge sharing and optimal service delivery.
  7. Stay informed about community resources and relevant training to support clients effectively.
  8. Act as a liaison between clients and various community agencies.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and activities.
  10. Collaborate with program leadership on evaluation and referral processes.
  11. Attend required training sessions to support role responsibilities.
  12. Perform additional duties as needed to support the overall operations of the service hub.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: Prior experience working with clients impacted by the criminal legal system is preferred. Lived experience in navigating these systems is highly valued.

Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and services.
  • Empathy and professionalism in addressing the diverse needs of clients.
