Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Survivor Advocate & Community Liaison to join our team at Domestic Violence Intervention Services Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing support and advocacy services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocacy and Case Management: Provide individualized support and case management services to survivors, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to community resources.
  • Community Outreach and Education: Collaborate with community partners to provide education and outreach services, promoting awareness about domestic and sexual violence and the services available to survivors.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Domestic Violence Intervention Services Inc. and other organizations, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as community outreach and education.
  • Skills: Bilingual proficiency, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to social justice and equity.
