The Retail Operations Leader fulfills this mission by guiding a team of high-performing members to provide an exceptional experience for every guest, thereby achieving all brand goals and commitments.

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure team members deliver an outstanding guest experience consistently by modeling and coaching essential service principles.
  • Help team members recognize that adhering to service principles is crucial for guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee store operations and ensure a welcoming environment for every guest and team member.
  • Collaborate with team members to create actionable development plans.
  • Hold team members accountable for their commitments and performance.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to motivate and develop team members.
  • Foster a culture that values simplicity, enjoyment, and style.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and monthly coaching sessions with all team members.
  • Understand the key drivers of success within the business.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Recognize that guest experience is fundamental to achieving results.
  • Build a professional relationship with the optical doctor to enhance the guest experience.
  • Regularly discuss performance and collaborate on strategies to enhance business.
  • Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential candidates.
  • Analyze business trends and adjust staffing schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Manage payroll and personnel documentation efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures, including merchandising and store presentation.
  • Guarantee accurate sales transactions and effective use of sales strategies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in customer service or retail
- Strong results-driven mindset
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in recruiting and developing talent
- Proficient selling skills
- Ability to motivate and influence others

Preferred Qualifications:
- Opticianary License or American Board of Opticians Certification
- 3+ years of management or supervisory experience

Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, qualifications, and local wage requirements. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a comprehensive rewards package.
