About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Director of Antibody Research and Development to join our team at Alloy Therapeutics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of our antibody discovery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for antibody discovery and development, including monoclonal and bispecific antibodies and T-cell receptor mimetic therapeutics.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers to design and optimize antibody-based therapeutics.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including large pharma companies, emerging biotech companies, and academic collaborators, to drive the discovery of novel antibody-based therapeutics.
  • Provide scientific leadership and guidance to ensure the successful completion of therapeutic discovery projects, meeting rigorous partner timelines and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in antibody discovery and development, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our processes and technologies.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in antibody discovery and development, with a strong understanding of the scientific principles and technologies involved.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing biologics discovery teams, with a strong ability to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including external partners and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
