About the Role

As a Senior Laboratory Technologist at Bio-Techne, you will play a critical role in enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. Our company provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high complexity testing in the Clinical laboratory under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager.
  • Provide a lead role in facilitating test performance by training and advising other technologists.
  • Contribute to the laboratory test development optimization, validation and verification, using molecular biology techniques.
  • Follow the laboratory's procedure for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintain records of patient test results.
  • Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in a chemical, physical or biological science and 4+ years of experience in a molecular clinical laboratory.
  • OR Hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and 4+ years of experience.
  • OR Hold a Master of Science in Chemical or Biological Science and subsequent to graduation at least 2 years of molecular clinical laboratory experience.
  • OR Hold a Doctoral degree from an accredited institution with a chemical, physical or biological science and subsequent to graduation, have had at least one year's experience in molecular laboratory specialties in a clinical laboratory.
